We would like to inform our customers that SSMC is migrating from Lotus Note to Outlook Exchange for better IT support efficiency and to achieve a more optimum infrastructure to service our customer. Along with the mail client migration, our domain name will be changed. SSMC’s email address will also change from @nxp.com to @ssmc.com.

It is the third time in a row that SSMC is winning the Workplace Safety and Health Innovation Award. This year, on 29 Jul 08, our Red Cross team brought home a Bronze award with their winning idea of the RIE Safety Cabinet. Their innovative solution has enhanced the overall safety in the FA (failure analysis) laboratory.

Singapore, 28 May 2008 - SSMC announced today that it is making a S$63K donation to the Singapore Red Cross Society Myanmar Cyclone Appeal Fund and China Earthquake Appeal Fund. This donation is for immediate and emergency care for victims in Myanmar and China.

January 23 was the day that marked the 2-millionth wafer shipment in SSMC. Mid 2005, SSMC hit the 1-millionth mark and with all our customers' support, we have reached the 2-millionth mark in a mere 2 years.
