COMMUNITY OUTREACH: SSMC DONATES TO NECDC

On 25 May, SSMC presented a donation of S$8,000 to North East Community Development Council to support the Dedicated NE Ambulance Programme which provide ambulance transport services for needy residents with mobility difficulties to attend the medical treatments for their chronic illnesses. SSMC never stops caring for the community. We will continue to engage in Corporate Social Responsibility work and support more community outreach initiatives.

SSMC OBSERVES EARTH HOUR BY SWITCHING OFF LIGHT

On 27 March, SSMC observed Earth Hour 2021 by switching off all non-essential lights for 1 hour, from 8.30pm to 9.30pm. SSMC has always been active in corporate social responsibility for the larger community, being relentless in its dedication towards environmental sustainability. Thus, the energy conservation campaign was extended to all employees, encouraging them to power off at home as well.

IND4.0 PARTNERSHIP WITH TEMASEK POLYTECHNIC

On 11 Jan 2021, SSMC hosted a visit for students and lecturer of TP and showcased our collaboration project, AMR (Automated Mobile Robot) transporter. In the visit, our team demonstrated the use of the transporter in production. Also an educational tour was conducted at the LEAN Centre, where the joint development work of the transporter was first conceived.
