Supplier Day 2026

SSMC welcomed valued supplier partners to Supplier Transform and Supplier Day 2026, bringing together suppliers, management, and employees to strengthen collaboration and advance supply chain resilience. Centred on the theme, Building Synergy for Stronger Supply Chain Resilience, the event highlighted the importance of strategic partnerships, innovation, quality, and sustainability. Through shared insights and meaningful engagement, SSMC reaffirmed its commitment to building a stronger, more resilient, and sustainable future together with its supplier ecosystem.

Inspiring the Next Generation of Water Stewards

SSMC partnered with Park View Primary School and PUB for an enriching learning journey at Lorong Halus Wetland, aimed at raising awareness of water sustainability and conservation. Supported by 17 dedicated SSMC volunteers, students explored Singapore’s water journey through engaging interactive activities. The event reflected SSMC’s commitment to environmental stewardship and community engagement, inspiring young minds to play a role in building a more sustainable future.

SSMC Volunteers Give Back to the Community

SSMC participated in its second volunteering session with Hao Ren Hao Shi on 18 July 2026, reinforcing our commitment to community care and social responsibility. At Joo Chiat Complex, our volunteers helped distribute wellness items, groceries, and daily essentials to 94 families in need. The meaningful experience highlighted the power of kindness, generosity, and collective action. We are grateful for the opportunity to support the community and look forward to creating more positive impact through future volunteering initiatives.

Launch of SSMC Solar Carpark and EV Charging

SSMC marked a significant milestone in its sustainability journey with the official opening of its Solar Carpark and EV Charging Stations on 21 April 2026. The launch, comprising an auditorium ceremony and ribbon cutting session, highlighted SSMC’s continued commitment to renewable energy adoption and future-ready mobility operations.

SSMC at SEMI SEA 2026 and Wins TECH Zoomers Challenge 2026

At SEMICON Southeast Asia 2026, held from 5 to 7 May in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, SSMC demonstrated its belief that the future of semiconductors is built as much on people as it is on technology. We are delighted to share that SSMC emerged as the winner of the TECH Zoomers Challenge 2026, reflecting the team's creativity, innovation, and collaborative spirit. This achievement reinforces SSMC's commitment to nurturing future talent and advancing sustainable innovation in the semiconductor industry.

SSMC Supports Make-A-Wish Singapore

SSMC partnered with Make-A-Wish Singapore to support Emma, a 13-year-old with Rett Syndrome, by funding a customised wheelchair to improve her mobility and quality of life. The S$11,800 fundraising goal was achieved on 12 and 13 May 2026, SSMC successfully reached our fundraising goal with contributions from 309 donors including members of the SSMC Management Team, reflecting our strong social community support.

SSMC Marks Major Wafer Shipment Milestones

In March 2026, SSMC marked two key wafer shipment milestones, highlighting its manufacturing excellence and strong customer partnerships. The company shipped its 3-millionth automotive wafer on 4 March, followed by its 14-millionth wafer on 24 March. These milestones reflect SSMC’s operational resilience and growing contribution to the semiconductor industry.

International Women’s Day 2026: SSMC Give to Gain

SSMC marked International Women’s Day (IWD) 2026 by reaffirming its commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion— empowering people through everyday actions. The team participated in SSIA’s women forum’s theme “Give to Gain”, to celebrate and support this collective pledge to uplift and advance one another.

On the tenth day of the Lunar New Year, the SSMC community came together to celebrate the festive season filled with positivity, harmony and shared joy. As we begin the new year, the Lunar New Year celebration reflects the strong sense of community and togetherness at SSMC, setting a positive and auspicious tone for the journey ahead.

SSMC’s Continued Commitment to Community Support through Project 300 = 150

As part of its ongoing community efforts, SSMC participated in Project 300 = 150 on 24 January 2026, with 16 volunteers supporting families in Tampines GRC. Held during the festive season, the initiative offers subsidised groceries and essentials to help households manage expenses, reflecting SSMC’s continued commitment to making a meaningful difference in the community.
