SSMC is invited to share winning formula for environmental conservation by SEC
The Singapore Environmental Council (SEC) held a seminar on the 28th of Jan 2010, themed “Achieving Environmental Excellence in Manufacturing,” wherein Mr. Jagadish, CEO of SSMC, was the keynote speaker.As the 2006 Singapore Environmental Achievement Awards (SEAA) winner, Mr. Jagadish elaborated on SSMC’s efforts towards environmental conservation.The floor was thoroughly convinced by Mr. Jagadish’s message of “mutual benefits” that can be reaped by both the environment and the company through environmental initiatives.“SSMC is the leader in environmental excellence in the semi-conductor industry. There are many things to learn from SSMC.” Darren Chia from Singapore packaging, secretariat officer said.
